The Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz today was Anything Goes. The image is from Lili of the Valley.

End of Summer Relaxation

The Friday Alcohol Marker challenge at The Outlawz was Anything Goes. I love those challenges, since there is usually something in my box that is colored and just needs to be made into a card. Another Lili of the Valley image.

Ribbon, Flower, and Brad

The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz was to use a ribbon, a flower, and a brad on your card. The image is from Lili of the Valley.

National Dog Day

National Dog Day was August 26. In honor of that, the Greeting Card challenge for The Outlawz was to make a dog theme card. The image is from Impression Obsession

Uplifting Cards

The CAS challenge on The Outlawz this past Sunday was words of encouragement. I used a DP and just added the words to it.

Favorite Things

The Twisted Thursday challenge on The Outlawz was "Favorite Things." One of my favorite things to use on my cards is fabric.

The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge this past Monday was Monochromatic. The image is from Lili of the Valley. I colored it with copics and used a cuttlebug folder for the background.

A Sprinkle of Salt

This technique for Stamp-A-Faire was to use salt in your project. I chose to use three Distress Ink reinkers to add the color for the background. I then sprinkled sea salt all over the wet ink, let it dry, and then removed it. The words are from PTI and are framed with Spellbinders Labels 10.

Sugar Coated

This challenge from Stamp-A-Faire featured using Prisma glitter on your card. I chose to add it to the ice cream. Everything used was from PTI.

Limited Supplies

This Stamp-A-Faire challenge called for limited supplies. The only things that could be used were:
Cardstock: White, Melon Berry, Aqua Mist, Harvest Gold, and an 1 inch strip of light gray.
Inks: Melon Berry, Aqua Mist, Harvest Gold
One 1 3/4 inch circle
Prisma Glitter

I used all the cardstock colors except for the gray. I added strips of prisma glitter on the melon berry strips. The words are from PTI.

This challenge at PTI's Stamp-A-Faire was to make a scratch and sniff card. I used sugar free chocolate pudding for my chocolate.

PTI Blog Hop - Fast Food

Today's PTI Blog Hop was inspired by Fast Food. You were provided with 6 different color schemes and sketches. I used the color scheme of Fine Linen, Classic Kraft, Dark Chocolate, and True Black. I used Fine Linen for my card base and the other colors to make the strips. I embossed the strips with a cuttlebug foler.   I used a piece of Tim Holtz paper string. I opted not to make a bow since the colors were more masculine.  Of course, the words are also from PTI.

Thanks for stopping by.

Custom Accents from the Oven

This Stamp-A-Faire challenge was to make your own embellishments using shrink plastic. I used a Spellbinders Christmas tree die. I colored it with copic markers before shrinking it. I used New Leaf and Pure Poppy paper from PTI. Christmas Red Stickles were used to decorate the trees.

To Dye For....

This challenge from PTI's Stamp-A-Faire yesterday was to dye something. I used grape Koolaid to dye my flowers. The words are from PTI. The leaves are from the PTI Polka Dot Parade #6 set which featured a tree and a thank you sentiment.

Rolled Dough Designs

Another PTI Stamp-A-Faire challenge. I used paper clay to create the words. You roll out the clay and let it air dry. You can then die cut the clay. The balloons are from PTI and the paper from Bo Bunny. I used my white Inksentials marker for the border.

Gallon - Quart - Pint

Another challenge from the PTI Stamp-A-Faire yesterday. This was using the concept of gallon-quart-pint. You choose three colors and use them in proportion to the three measurements. My gallon was Aqua Mist. My quart was Plum Pudding and my pint was Royal Velvet. The words are from PTI. I used Spellbinders Labels 4 (regular and small) and a cuttlebug folder for embellishing.

Mixing Mists to Match

Another tutorial/challenge at PTI today was mixing mists to match. You used rubbing alcohol and dye reinkers to make you own mist. I used the Royal Velvet reinker. I stamped my image from the Reasons to Smile set with versamark and embossed in white. I then sprayed the paper with my mist. Unfortunately, my embossed images turned shades of pink. So I colored the leaves and the centers of the flowers with copic markers on top of the embossing powder.
Today is Stamp-A-Faire over at PTI. There are a number of tutorials and challenges throughout the day. The first challenge of the day was "Breakfast Bake and Take."  You were provided with several color recipes and sketch recipes. You needed to choose one of each to use on your card.  These are the recipes I chose to use.

The Outlawz CAS challenge this Sunday was Time. I chose to use a fabric butterfly with the quote about butterflies and time.

The Friday Alcohol marker challenge on The Outlawz was to use minty blue/greens and pinks. The mermaids are from Lili of the Valley. I colored them with copics and added stickles for embellishing. This is a Z-fold card.

The Beach

The Twisted Thursday challenge on The Outlawz was mixed media. This is a canvas. The seagull is a digi. The treasure chest and map are stamps. The treasures next to the chest are brads. The background was done with gelatos and a cloud stencil using staz-on ink. The sailboats are napkins. The sun was made using a stencil and beaded glass gel. I used craft sand for the beach and mini shells to embellish it.

National Relaxation Day!

Today is National Relaxation Day! I made these for a friend. She had little drink brads which we added. Her idea of relaxing is a good book, so I found a stamp with books and cut out individual books to add to the chair. Hope you have a relaxing day.

I am a big fan of cupcakes. In fact, I celebrate people's cupcake day (1/2 birthday).  I used several layers of classic oval nesties for the layering. The background of the card is Washi tape. I simply created my stripes with the pieces of tape. No measuring - just eyeballed it.

If you should get lost or want to start from the beginning, you can go back to the Denami blog.

Color Challenge

The color challenge on The Outlawz was to use Sundown Purple, Vanilla Sky and Burnt Orange. The colors just said Halloween to me. The hedgies are from Penny Black. I cut them out and put them on a wobble. You needed to add a tag, so I used a Tim Holtz fragment. The "Boo!" is from a piece of Halloween ribbon. I then added glitter to the remainder of the fragment. I cut the circle out of the purple paper for the moon and filled it with stickles.
