The Outlawz - Greeting Card

The Monday Greeting Card challenge was Mothers Day or For a Girl. I think this card will be for my "pseudo" nieces third birthday. The stamp is magnolia. The words are from Sweet-n-Sassy.

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge was to use a die cut. I used the oval label die that is from scrap-mart and large labels. The stamp is Magnolia. This is the first I have played with these stamps.

The House Mouse and Friends Challenge was "Anything Goes" with the option of using a tea theme. The image was colored with copics. I used glossy accents on the flowers and tea tag.

I am taking an on-line Copic Class with Suzanne Dean. Just the little bit I have done has made a huge difference in my coloring.

Penny Black Challenge

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge was not to use patterned paper. So, off to embossing folders I went. The embossing folder is from Sixxix. The image was colored with copics.

CAS-ual Fridays

The CAS-ual Friday challenge was a sketch. The image is from Penny Black. I did the border around the green with the score-it. Labels 1 from Spellbinders was used for the layers. A bit of glossy accents on the flowers.

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge was to include dots and stripes on your card. I used PP for both dots and stripes and added Candi that was colored with copics for extra dots.

The challenge on Simon Says Stamp this week was "April Showers Bring Spring Flowers". These House Mouse look like they are enjoying the showers. Colored with copics. Clear glitter pen used on the rocks and raindrops.

National Licorice Day

Today is National Licorice Day. Made these cards for a friend of mine. It took forever to figure out how to make licorice, but I finally just rolled mulberry paper. The bag is made out of glassine paper. The ribbon over the bag is Martha Stewart. The background is a cuttlebug folder that I ran red ink over after it was embossed. The black pearl pen was used in the corner.

The CAS-ual Friday challenge this week was "Let the Hunt Begin". The challenge was to make a card featuring something you would expect to find in an Easter basket. I vote for chocolate!! The chocolate bunyy is a Stampin' Up! stamp. The card base was embossed with the large cuttlebug dots.

Faux Tiles




The project at stamp club this month was faux tiles. These are two of the cards I made using this technique.


Window and Flower Box



This window diecut along with all the other pieces are from Poppy Stamps. I popped the shutters and flower box up. All the flowers are adhered to the back of the flower box.
