Lace and Ribbon

 

The Monday Greetings challenge on The Outlawz this week was to use lace and ribbon. I used Lacy Circles Nestibilities for my lace.

Ring in the New Year

The Sunday CAS challenge on The Outlawz this week was to "Ring in the New Year." You needed to include rings on your card. The only thing my card is missing is the words. I need to find some silver words.

Non traditional Christmas

 

 

The Saturday Paper ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz this past week was to do a non-traditional Christmas card. I chose to use non-traditional colors for my card. The stamps are from Outlines rubber stamps. I colored them with copics, added glossy accents to some of the circles and used my glitter pen on others.

PTI December Blog Hop

 

Today is the PTI December blog hop. The challenge was to use string on your creation. I used the die from the Polka Dot Parade Christmas set and cut the tree pieces from DP. I then used bakers twine as my string and attached the "Christmas" tag. The words are from the same set as the tree.

Color challenge #4

 

 

Fourth week as guest designer for the color challenge at The Outlawz. There were 5 colors this week to choose from.  They were: Miss Scarlet, Hello Pink, Juicy Orange, Strong Coffee, and Sparkling Turquoise. You needed to choose three colors. I used Hello Pink, Strong Coffee, and Sparkling Turquoise. A sentiment needed to be added to the card.

Happy New Year

The Friday Alcohol Marker challenge at The Outlawz was to make a "Happy New Year" card. I had this snow peep set from Unity Stamps. He was perfect for the challenge.

Sports thank you

 

 

One of three different cards I am making for a Bar Mitzvah. There will be basketballs, footballs, and lacrosse sticks. The Twisted Thursday Challenge at the Outlawz was "Anything Goes"

Musical Christmas Tree

 

The Saturday Paper ala Mode challenge on The Outlawz was "Anything Goes." This is another canvas -  a musical Christmas tree. Done with patterned papers that were cut for the "layers" of the tree, I added the notes and treble cleffs for decorations.

The Alcohol Marker challenge on The Outlawz this past week was a color challenge. The colors to be used in your creation were based on the above picture. Here is my creation.

 

 

Snowflakes

 

The Twisted Thursday challenge on The Outlawz this past week was "snowflakes." The snowflakes on my snowman canvas were stenciled onto the canvas using Staz-on Ink.

 

 

Flamingo #5

 

Second week of my guest designer position for The Outlawz Tuesday color challenge. This week we were given one color and needed to add two more colors and a "twist."

The provided color was lamplight yellow. I added pink and orange. My twist was the flamingo.

I colored my design only with glitter. My apologies to anyone who stopped by earlier and found nothing here. I accidently deleted the picture on my IPAD and could not fix it until I got home. Unfortunately, the weather and traffic did not cooperate today and it took me 4 1/2 hours to get home from church this afternoon (8 miles).

Color challenge

 

I was asked to be a guest designer for The Outlawz Tuesday Color challenge for the month of December. This was the card I created for today. The colors were: Darkest green, Silver, and Snow White. I used the spellbinders layered trees to cut the trees from a glittery silver paper. The snow was made by tearing white paper and adding some blue ink to the top of the snow mounds. I used the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.

Woodsy canvas

 

The paper ala mode challenge this past Saturday was to use punches or die cuts. The trees and deer on this canvas are cut using Tim Holtz framelits. I also used one of his stencils to create the green and gold rays on the top of the canvas.

Animal Prints

 

The Twisted Thursday challenge last week on The Outlawz was to use an animal or animal prints. I love this giraffe from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle.

Flamingo #2

 

The color challenge at The Outlawz was a bit different this week. They offered five colors, you chose three. I used Ocean Orange, Smooth Pink, and Lovely Lavender. The twist was to add a flourish.

Going in Circles

 

The Monday Greeting Challenge on The Outlawz this week was "Going in Circles." The stamps are from Rubber Necker. I am feeling this way about now!

Sunday

 

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz this week was to include a mouse on your card. The stamps I used are from Sparkle-n-Sprinkle.

The twins first birthday

 

 

 

The twins turn one in a couple of weeks. These are their birthday cards. Pulled out Bow Bear and Button Bear from Stampin' Up! for them.

Flamingos #1

 

Wednesday sketch for The Outlawz. There may be a lot of flamingos popping up since I need to make a bunch of flamingo cards for someone.

Tuesday Color Challenge

 

The Tuesday color challenge on The Outlawz was to use: Cinnamon, Pure Gold, and Candle Cream.

You needed to add burlap or twine. I used burlap to make my bow.

 

Anything but a stamp

 

The Monday Greeting challenge at The Outlawz was "Anything but a Stamp." You needed to use a digital image. Stamps were OK for the greeting.

Thanks

 

The Sunday CAS card at The Outlawz needed the theme of "Thanks." This magenta stamp fit the bill for being CAS and Thankful.

Snowflakes

 

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge on The Outlawz was to use snowflakes on your card. I did my snowflakes using a cuttlebug embossing folder. I then lightly colored them with a pale blue ink. The snowman was done with the Tim Holtz framelits. All the parts were paper pieced.  

Thanksgiving

 

The Alcohol Marker challenge on the Outlawz this past Friday was "Thanks" or "Thanksgiving."  I chose to do a cornucopia for Thanksgiving. Colored with copics.

Shaped Card

 

The Twisted Thursday Challenge on The Outlawz was to make a shaped card. I used Labels 1 from the Grand Nestabilities to make my shape. The image was direct to rubber coloring and then stamped.

The challenge on Monday Greetings at The Outlawz this week was "Winter Snow." The snowman was colored with copics and I used Sparkle-n-Fluff for his gloves and hat.

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode challenge on The Outlawz this past week was "Anything Goes." Since I did the male golfer on Friday, I decided to do his counter part today.

The Twisted Thursday challenge on The Outlawz this past week was to use Fall colors. I colored the flowers with copics and added glitter in the center. I bordered the flowers with sticker borders.

The Sunday CAS challenge on The Outlawz last week was to use any or all of the following colors: Green, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Blue. I decided to use them all! The card was done, I am just way behind on posting things.

The Saturday Paper ala Mode challenge at The Outlawz was "snowmen." Another of the snow peeps from Unity stamps. I embossed the background and then used daubers and ink to add some color to the snowflakes.

The Friday Alcohol Marker Challenge on The Outlawz was "Pumpkins." It is time to bring out all those fall/Thanksgiving stamps. Colored with copics and lots of glitter added. 

Halloween CAS

The CAS challenge this week on The Outlawz was to make a Halloween card. The Haunted Houses are an Outlines rubber stamps image. Looks just a little spooky.

The Tuesday color challenge at The Outlawz was to use: Bat Black, Harvest Moon, and Amber Glow. The twist was to make a Halloween card. The image is from House Mouse. I did his wings with orange, yellow and black glitter.
