Penny Black Challenge

The Penny Black Challenge was a sketch. My image was colored with copics. The paper flowers are Prima.

CAS-ual Fridays - Stickers

The challenge at CAS-ual Fridays was to use stickers. I attached my sticker onto a piece of acetate and colored the back of it with glaze pens (Sakura). I then adhered it to the white cardstock with glossy accents and colored the background with Copic BG000. The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Stamp Camp Demos - Part 2

Bows from double sided patterned paper. They are beautiful.


Twisty snowflake.

Stack of packages. Cut from a template and each section was covered with patterned papers. Ribbon at the top of each box. Cool card but work intensive.

The demo that was used in this was applying a clear drying glue on to a tag. You could do whatever design of glue application you desired. After the glue was dry (overnight) Distress Inks were applied with a sponge. The lizard is fabric. The paper is from DCWV fall mat stack.

PTI August Blog Hop

The Paper Trey Ink blog hop was an inspiration photo. I used Fillable Jars with the strawberries from the summer set. The patterned paper was cut using a die from the Half & Half set. The single strawberry is also PTI. Colored with copics

Art Impressions Challenge

The Art Impressions Challenge this week is Summer. I love all the penguin beach stamps from Art Impressions. Colored with copics. The dots on the lady penguins swim suit were made using the colorless blender. Patterned paper is from Memory Box.

Simon Says Challenge

The challenge on Simon Says Stamp this week was a sketch. Image from Hero Arts. Words are Penny Black. The embossing was done with a Cuttlebug edge embossing folder. Punch is Botanical Scallop (Martha Stewart).

Beatrix Potter

Found some Beatrix Potter fabric. These are just 2 of the different cards I made using this fabric.

Train

I had a bunch of these trains that were stamped and embossed and just needed to be made into cards. I used a lot of papers from DCWV Tattered Time Matt Stack. This one was my favorite of all the different ones I did.

Outlines Challenge

The Outlines Rubber Stamps challenge was four legged friends. Image from Outlines Rubber Stamps. Paw print border punch is from EK Success. Colored with Copics. Lots of stickles for embellishments. Paw with Glossy Accents. Flowers from Prima. The eyes on the skeleton are cat eyes. They have little slits like a cats.

CPS challenge 232

This is my card for the Card Positioning Challenge. The image is from Magenta and colored with copics. The pink piece was embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The patterned paper is from DCWV and was a good match for the embossing folders. Brads in the corners of the images. The image is popped up.

Penny Black Challenge - Shabby Chic

This weeks Penny Black Challenge was Shabby Chic. I embossed a whitewash coordinations paper and then sanded it so the back color showed up where the embossing is. The edges of the embossed piece were distressed using the Tim Holtz distressing tool. The image was colored with copics that were more earth toned. Flowers are from Prima.

Art Impressions Challenge

The Art Impressions Challenge was anything goes. I used Doors and Windows and the Bakery set. The door and the canopy were done with patterned paper. The barrel and flour bag are popped up. Colored with copics.

Stamp Camp 2011 Demos

Stamp Camp has demos every night of the week. After Camp the Challenge is to use the demos to make cards. Here are half of the demos. The others will be posted later.

The demo used on the tool man was the background paper behind him. Acrylic paints were put on a piece of cardstock and then spread with a credit card.


This demo was making shimmer paper. I used a textured black paper and painted a mixture of water and perfect pearls onto it. There was no recipe for the amount of water and perfect pearls. My piece is used as the scallop on the card.

Another demo was using self-adhesive laminating sheets to make snowglobes. decided to use my snowglobe as the focal point on the card.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Food and Drink

The Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge this week was food and drink. Who would think that after doing 110 wedding invitations with corn on them, I would ever want to see another stamp with corn. Colored with copics.

CAS-ual Friday Challenge - Embossing

CAS-ual Friday challenge was to use embossing. I did stripes of plastic tape on a piece of white cardstock and then embossed with a cuttlebug folder. This was one of the quickie demos from Stamp Camp this summer. The image is Stampin' Up! and colored with copics. Flocking used for embellishing the hats and earmuffs.

House Mouse Challenge

The House Mouse and Friends Challenge was Fruity. The stamp used is "Bobbing on Apples" (2009). Colored with copics. The frame is fro Spellbinders. I cut it, embossed it and colored the dots with copics. I then colored the frame with a pale red. The frame is popped up.

Summer Jar Fillers from Paper Trey Ink. They were stamped into the new pint size jar. Background papers are from Memory Box. Colored with copics

Outlines - Summer Challenge

Outlines Rubber Stamps Summer Challenge. All stamps are Outlines. Colored with copics. Petite ovals and scalloped ovals from Spellbinders. Sakura glitter pens used for all highlights on flowers and stems.

Summer Flowers

Flowers are from Paper Trey Ink Summer Jar Fillers. Colored with copics and cut out. the Jar is flat against the patterned paper (Memory Box) and the flowers are popped up. A second layer of the leaves were added behind each leaf. Stickles used in the center of each flower.

The Penny Black Challenge was to add texture to your card. I used flower soft on the petals and center of the flower. Colored with copics. Labels 8 from Spellbinders used for layer.

CAS-ual Friday Challenge

The CAS-ual Fridays Challenge was a sketch. The birdhouse is from Inkadinkado. The words are from Simply Wood and Rubber. The image was stamped in black verafine ink. Silver strips were put down the two sides and the three strip across the bottom.

Today is National S'Mores Day. Thought this was the perfect stamp for that. Colored with copics. Glossy accents on chocolate. Patterned paper from DCWV

Outlines Rubber Stamps Challenge was to use lace. The satin ribbon behind the lace was colored with copics. Images colored with copics. Embellished with stickles, glitter pens, and glossy accents. Patterned paper behind the image is from Stampin' Up!

Penny Black Challenge. Love this hedgehog on his flower swing. Every place there was a flower in the stamped image, I replaced it with a Prima flower and a brad. Colored with copics.
