Super Hero
The Saturday Paper a la Mode challenge at The Outlawz today was "Super Heros". I decided to take a different approach and make my super hero a firegirl. The image is from My Favorite Things.
Vertio paper
The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz was "Anything Goes". I embossed my cardbase and then added the dragonfly. The dragonfly was die cut out of Vertigo paper. I sponged Memento Luxe ink onto the back of it. This paper is really cool. I started with pink ink as a base and then added purple over the entire thing. I then did a few spots of blue and a little more pink.

Milk Can Flowers
The Friday Alcohol Marker challenge was a color palette this week. I had a hard time deciding what to stamp with the given colors: shades of gray, brick red, turquoise, and dark blue. The stamp I used is from Judith. I added touches of gold to the centers if the flowers with a gold Wink of Stella pen.
Things with Wings
The Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz this week was to make a card featuring Something with wings. I always do butterflies or birds, so I decided to mix it up a bit and do a Bee! He was colored with copics. I used the silver Wink of Stella glitter pen for his wings.

For my card today, I used the chickies in the hot air balloons and parachute. The chickies were colored with copics. I added glitter to the hearts with the Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. Of course, chickies would not be complete if they did not have some of Denami's yellow glitter on them. I did my sky background with a Darice embossing folder. The flowers were made with a Martha Stewart border punch. I punched them on white and colored them with copics. I added clear glitter with the Wink of Stella pen. The grass was made using grosgrain ribbon and "shredding" it.
You should have arrived here from the delightful blog of Wendy. Your next stop on the hop is Lisa's wonderful blog.
If you are lost or want to start at the beginning, go to the Denami blog.

Food for Thought
May 11 was "Eat What You Want Day". So, in honor of that, The Outlawz Alcohol Marker challenge did a "Food for Thought" challenge. The stamps are from Great Impressions. I used versamark on the background and clear embossed it. I fussy cut the chef and popped him up on the ovals.
Tuesday Color Challenge
The color challenge at The Outlawz this past week was to use Blue Lagoon, Navy Blue, and Sunshine Yellow. You needed to add a circle. I inked the butterfly with a pale blue and "kissed" it with a darker blue.

Catch a Wave
Last Mondays Greeting challenge at The Outlawz was "beach or water". I think I have a mix of both here. I used a piece of DP from my stash for my waves. The surfing penguin is from Art Impressions. I love my collection of "beach" penguins. The seagulls are from Stampscapes.

Wedding
I am a bit behind on posting things onto the blog. This was the challenge from The Outlawz on Thursday, May 1. It was a "BINGO" challenge in which you needed to choose the three things that you were going to include on your card. I chose a stamped image, glitter, and patterned paper as my three items. The image is from Lili of the Valley. I used glitter on her dress, the hearts and flowers. The patterned paper also has some glitter in it.

MFTWSC175
I found a new challenge to do. Actually, I knew it was there, but never did it. This challenge is a weekly sketch from My Favorite Things. It comes out on Wednesdays. I used this MFT stamp and colored it with copics. I had pumpkin border ribbon that I used. The buttons on the top and bottom of the card are Candi that were colored with copics. I added some Glossy Accents to the pumpkins, the heart on her pants and her hair bows.
Graduation Dog
Wednesday sketch challenge from The Outlawz. This is a stamp that has been in my collection for a long time, but that I had never used. I used a Darice embossing folder for the background and a sticker for the words.
