I could not do just one of these sports chickies.
I had to do all 4 of them that came in the set!
My first card was the football chickie. I stamped the footballs on kraft paper using versmark and embossed with white EP. I stamped the chickie on craft paper and colored with copics. I then did the circles with Spellbinders nesties. The word is from craft lounge stamps.
My next card is baseball chickie. I again did the baseballs with versamark and white EP. I colored the stitches with a copic marker over the white EP. After coloring the chickies, I used Spellbinders Labels 8 to cut them out. I edged the label with a red copic marker.
Next, I did the basketball chickie. I stamped the basketballs with versamark and black embossed them. I then colored them with copics. Found some basketball ribbon to embellish it with.
Finally, I did the soccer chickie. I found soccer ribbon that was white, but did not want that on my kraft card. So, I sprayed it with Dylusions Fresh Lime ink spray. I stamped the soccer balls with versamark and embossed with black.
Thanks for stopping by.

Back to School
The Saturday Paper a la Mode Challenge on The Outlawz was "Back to School." This has been a common theme all week. I stamped the background with the words which are from Paper Trey Ink. The notebook paper and pencil were also a Paper Trey Ink image, which I stamped on bright yellow paper. I colored the pencil with Copic Spica pens. The stickers were from K & Co. I edged the white background paper with a bright blue and then did my layers.
Read all about it
In honor of National Literacy Day, the Outlawz Alcohol Marker challenge was "Read all about it." The stamps are from Paper Trey Ink. My copic usage was minimal - just coloring the background of the reading girl. I think this was actually a bookplate stamp, so I used the ribbon to decorate that area where it would have had some information about the books owner or giver.
