Card Positioning System Challenge. My stamp club has a monthly challenge card. We recently finished doing every card template from the Joy of Cardmaking magazine. So, this month we were to do a card from palspaperarts.com. There were four challenges from January 2011 (the chosen month). We were to do the one with the bow, but I had to do all 4. This was the color challenge - Baja Blue, Pear Pizzaz, and Perfect Plum. I used the sketch from CPS to make the card.

House Mouse Challenge - Fall

The challenge on House Mouse and Friends was Fall. The image was colored with copics and cut out and popped up on labels 4 (spellbinders). The acorns are from Outlines. The label and the card were sponged with green ink .

The Twisted Thursday Challenge was 'Anything Goes'. You can not use all copics to color with. This is one of my original Stampin' Up! stamps. Nestabilities 4 used to cut around stamped image. Colored with Stampin' Up! markers.

Midnight Madness #127

A new challenge I found this week was Midnight Madness. They give you a sketch. There were 2 sketches and you could do either, both, or something inbetween. The stamp is House Mouse, Birthday Cupcake (2002). Colored with copics. Embellished with stickles. Cupcake border punch is Martha Stewart.

Penny Black Challenge

The Penny Black Challenge this week was a sketch. Since is Halloween weekend and it is snowing, I decided this hedgehog needed to catch snowflakes instead of butterflies. Colored with copics. PP is DCWV.

Simon Says Challenge

The Simon Says Challenge this week was anything goes. The elephant is from a piece of baby oriented fabric. The word stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly!. The PP is DCWV.

Art Impressions Challenge

The Art Impressions Challenge was to make a card for a little boy. I used a front and back image, colored with copics and used flocking for the snow. PP is from DCWV.

Outlines Challenge - Pretty in Pink

The Outlines Rubber Stamp Challenge was Pretty in Pink. The cake was colored with copics, embellished with stickles. The PP is from Echo Park.

The Saturday Challenge was to use a tag. The flower is a decoupage flower.

The Friday Challenge on The Outlawz was Asian Influence. This card is completely made out of fabrics.

The Thursday challenge was a sketch with a Halloween flair. The image is Penny Black. I used a piece of paper from Creative Imaginations Orhard Harvest paper pad to put the needed component in the bottom left corner.

The Wednesday challenge was a sketch. Stamps are from Stampin' Up!. The paper is from DCWV.


The Tuesday Challenge is a color challenge. The colors were white, black, and harvest pumpkin. The twist was to use something recycled. The flower embellishment was recycled from a previous card and colored with copics. Stamps were Hero Arts and Great Impressions.

The Monday Challenge was Pink Awareness. Stamp is from Magenta.

The Sunday CAS challenge was to use a leaf as the focal point. The leaf was stamped with Kalidecolor Cappuccino inkpad. Stamps are from Rubber Stampede and Impression Obsession.

The Outlawz - Week of 10/16/11 Part 1

The Wednesday challenge is a sketch The keyboard and saxophone were stamped with versafine ink. The strip of brown paper was embossed with the cuttlebug music embossing folder. The sax was popped up. Three treble cleft embellishments were added to the upper right corner.






The Tuesday color challenge was to use Rust, Mustard, and Navy. Rhubarb was colored with copics and the flower center has sparkle-n-fluff in it. I used a washcloth and colorless blender to add some texture to Rhubarb.









The Monday Greeting Card Challenge was Everything Goes! The stamps are from Sweet-n-Sassy Rhubarbs Autumn Joys set. Colored with copics. PP are from DCWV.

The Sunday CAS challenge was a Monochromatic Holiday Card. It could be any holiday you chose. This valentine is from Stampin' Up!. The card base was stamped with a lace background from Stampin' Up! using Versamark Dazzle ink.

The Outlawz - Week of 10/9/11 - Part 2

The Saturday Paper Ala Mode Challenge was to include pumpkins. The image is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps and was colored with copics. A clear glitter pen was used to highlight the pumpkins and gourds.

The Friday Copic Challenge was Think Pink. The image is from Hero Arts.

The challenge for Twisted Thursday was to follow a recipe. The recipe was to start with a plain piece of CS, add a couple of critters, add a swirl, and then texture. The stamps are from Outlines Rubber Stamps.

Simon Says - Nursery Rhyme

The Simon Says Challenge this week was inspired by a fairy tale or nursery rhyme. Found the perfect stamp from Stampabilities to do this with. Colored with copics, glossy accents on moon. PP is Nana's Nursery Baby Boy

For this weeks Card Positioning System Challenge I used a Sweet and Sassy Set (Rhubarbs Autumn Joys). The image was colored with copics. Glossy Acents were used on the leaves.

Penny Black Challenge - On the Move

The Penny Black Challenge was On The Move. This cute little hedgehog is on the move. The image was colored with copics. The grass was made with a Martha Stewart punch. Flowers are from Prima. Only one balloon was on the image. I added the others and popped them all up.

Outlines Challenge - Birthday Bash

The Challenge on Outlines Rubber Stamps was Birthday Bash! The image was colored with copics and embellished with stickles and glitter pens.

Faux Marbling

The stamp club project for September was faux marbling. The image was stamped on glossy paper with staz-on colored with water based markers. Gold metallic paint was then randomly added.
